The first part, enter the game.
I participated in the whole process of thinking and sound design in this project. During this first step, we need think of a a way to let our audience step over the threshold between login and log out.
The starting point of this project is to create a state in which the audience can maintain a high autonomy, and at the same time, it is limited by the rules we have formulated. In the process of experiencing the rules of the game, audience can then gradually understand the meaning of the rules.
After our group discussion, the form of transport was adjusted from the original small personal transportation to the transmission of voice to guide the viewers to move around.

These soundtracks were placed in different locations in the neighborhood and displayed in the audience!&s mobile phone. The audience will be guided by the map in the phone and walk in the alley of Linyi Street.
We use the following techniques in this process:
We use high-intensity radio as the audio transmitting device. Because the radio signal has a limitation of the signal range, it can divide the realm for each fixed point. As people walk around the edge of the realm, they can hear the organic change of the audio.
Phone screen is the primary visual media audience in touch with us.
We use the Google API as the data in the webpage, in order to let the audience see the distance between their location and the sound instantly. And use Firebase for instant data updates.
The soundtracks use "Linyi Street, Taipei City" as a prototype. During the process of our sample collecting, we discovered the local sounds and the self-generated relationships within the neighborhood. These all became our materials for the project.
When thinking about each story, I want to make the content a mixture between the natural and supernatural, and producing doubts of the audience by injecting daily harmony and disharmony.
Spot actor and voice instant processing:
Some of the fixed-point use live radios, because the stories requires soundtracks to be closely related to the actors.
And then by using micro-computer Raspberry Pi for real time sound processing, we are able to maintain a complete visual and auditory synchronization.
Audience walked in the alleys of Linyi Street as they usually would have done. However, the will suddenly encounter pieces of stories sketched out with sound one by one.
On the other hand, radio signals are widely used in life. In the block, there is also a rich radio environment. We want to let the audience experience the invisible existence in this visible block.
